Join the D8 Surfers Club at The Digital Hub

The Digital Hub is currently accepting registrations from Dublin 8 residents that wish to take part in the next D8 Surfers Club at The Digital Hub.

The D8 Surfers Club is held at the Learning Studio at The Digital Hub’s Digital Depot building over five-weeks for two hours per week. It is free to attend and it is a great opportunity for people living in our local community to get to know each other.

What is covered in the five weeks of the D8 Surfers Club?

  • Learn how to send emails
  • Learn how to search online for products and services, discounts, recipes, cheap holidays, and flights
  • Learn to purchase online
  • Learn how to video chat with your loved ones
  • Tea, coffee, and biscuits are at break-time

About the D8 Surfers Club 2016

The D8 Surfers Club is part-funded by the Irish Government’s BenefIT Programme. An initiative under the Government’s National Digital Strategy, the BenefIT Programme aims to get more citizens online and benefiting from the Internet – focusing on harder to reach groups like older people, the unemployed and the disadvantaged.
