The Liberties Festival – 1st to 4th September

The Liberties Festival is one of Ireland’s oldest festivals. After a two-year hiatus, it returns this September for four days of family-friendly, sporting, cultural and arts events, of which The Digital Hub is a proud supporter.

From modest beginnings in 1970 the Liberties Festival has grown to become a highlight of the summer with a series of family-friendly and community events, and an exciting multi-cultural and arts programme.

The Digital Hub, who is a proud supporter of the Liberties Festival over many years, is delighted to make available our space for many of the events as part of the environment programme (iD8 Studio at The Digital Hub) and music programme (Main stage at The Digital Hub, next to St. Patrick’s Tower).

As well as environment and music, there is a vast array of events taking place that celebrate health and wellbeing, old classics, young people, culture and a family fun day. You can view the full programme of events at, https://thelibertiesfestival.com/ and keep up to date on social by following the Liberties Festival on Instagram and Facebook.

The Liberties Festival is brought to you by the South Inner City Community Development Association (SICCDA) and Robert Emmet Community Development Project (CDP). The festival works with local community members and professional artists to put culture, creativity and diversity at the heart of the Liberties — the village in the city!
