That’s a wrap from the D8 Surfers Club for this year

Before the D8 Surfers Club at The Digital Hub takes a Christmas break, we catch-up with four participants of the digital learning programme - Patrick, Jacinta, Paddy and Justin - for a chat about what they have learned.

The D8 Surfers Club is a free digital literacy programme giving Dublin 8 residents the opportunity to learn how to use a laptop/tablet, email, skype, and surf the internet. Click here to read more about the Programme.

Patrick, Jacinta, Paddy and Justin attended the D8 Surfers Club classes once a week, for two hours, for five weeks. In our video interview with them, they tell us about their experience of the programme.

 What participants said:

After completing the course, I am now a lot more comfortable using computers, I love listening to other people’s questions and interacting with the group.” – Jacinta

I really enjoyed the course and would recommend it to anyone. I can now download books and music online.” – Paddy

“I have been in classes before, but never as good as this. Tell the world because this course is excellent.” – Justin
