Technovation Challenge 2021
The Digital Hub is delighted to partner with Teen-Turn to bring you the Technovation Challenge 2021. Technovation equips young women aged 10-18 with the skills to become tech entrepreneurs and leaders. With the support of volunteer mentors, girls work in teams to code mobile apps that address real-world problems they’ve identified.
Technovation Challenge sessions will returned the week beginning the 18th of January 2021. There is 7 sessions per week for schools in 10 different counties in the Republic of Ireland. All sessions are free in keeping with the rules set forth by Technovation to ensure fair access for every girl who is interested in participating. Currently it is expected these to be in virtual spaces. If restrictions change, they will be conducted at their usual sites.
