About Future Creators

The Future Creators is an after-school digital learning programme for young people aged 13-to-16 years old from Dublin 8. It was established by The Digital Hub in 2011 and is delivered with the National College of Art and Design (NCAD) and H2 Learning. Future Creators equips young people with a set of digital skills, including animation, coding, game making and design, sound manipulation, music technology, film-making, and electronics. The programme also works to enhance their exposure to STEM subjects and art and to build their confidence, so they may consider pursuing a related career. In addition, it promotes key 21st century skills of teamwork, collaboration, problem- solving and communication among the participants. Digital badges accreditation is now incorporated into the Programme.
