Dublin art collective FLUX launch Sustainability in Fashion Exhibition

Dublin 8 art collective FLUX will launch their Sustainability in Fashion Exhibition this Sunday, May 28th at The Bank at The Digital Hub, James Street, Dublin 8.

The exhibition will feature a range of fashion creators and designers promoting sustainable style, including Native Denims, a sustainable Irish-sourced denim company; Lucy’s Lounge, a renowned vintage store in Temple Bar founded in the 1980’s; and IMARA Earth, an e-commerce retailer using Irish linen to produce environmentally conscious clothing, among others. FLUX member and slow fashion designer Sharon Sweeney will give presentation on the effects that fast fashion has on the environment and will host a live interview with Fionnuala Jay on her journey from giving up fast fashion in 2020 and best practice on being a sustainable fashion consumer.

The exhibition will launch on Sunday May 28th from 1pm-5pm, and will run from Monday, May 29th to Friday, June 2nd from 12pm – 5pm at The Bank on James Street, Dublin 8.
