The Digital Hub & National College of Art & Design co-host Digital Cultures Webinar Series

The Digital Hub and the National College of Art & Design (NCAD) will hold a series of webinars this Spring, that examine how emerging technologies are affecting and transforming artistic practice, academic research and industry.

The Digital Hub’s current artist in residence and NCAD AlumnaElaine Hoey, along with NCAD lecturer, Dr. Rachel O’ Dwyer, have convened this programme, which will be held from Thursday, 18th March to Thursday, 10th June 2021.

This programme of talks brings together artists, designers, thinkers and innovators to examine the areas of artificial intelligence, digital ethics, digital infrastructures and environments and how these powerful emerging technologies intersect with each other and are transforming our futures.

The partnership between NCAD and The Digital Hub builds on stakeholder participation at the intersection of artistic practice, technology and society. This programme is designed to bring together audiences from key industry figures, academics and thinkers, students and alumni, the arts sector and the wider public.

The Webinar Series will be broadcast on NCAD’s YouTube channel.
