SMART Dublin seeks Regional Manager

Do you have at least 5 years experience in the broad technology sector, which gives you a developed expertise on the impact of technology? Do you have experience, ambition and communication skills to engage different audiences in the development of a smart city? Smart Dublin is seeking to appoint a Regional Manager to develop and drive its programme and strategy.

Working with all four local authorities, the Regional Manager will lead a team to develop and deliver programmes, initiatives, and activities, which engage public and private stakeholders in creating innovative solutions for challenges in Dublin. They will champion the release of open data to a dedicated portal, leverage the Small Business Innovation Research Programme and actively promote the concept of a smart city and data driven innovation across the region.

Backed by the CEOs of four local authorities, the role reports to the Smart Dublin Chair and Regional Steering Committee and manages a team of three specialist staff. It is an exciting opportunity for some who gets technology and can broker buy in and engagement.
