Plants for Free — The First Pocket Forests Thursday Workshop on 09/09/21

On Thursday, 9th of September from 12pm to 1.30pm, Ashe and Catherine will lead a hands-on workshop at the Pocket Forests Tree Hub at The Digital Hub campus in Dublin 8, on propagating new plants from cuttings. They will show you how to make a natural rooting solution using willow and you will be able to use it to prepare a variety of cuttings.

In a friendly chatty workshop Ashe and Catherine will explain the work of Pocket Forests and send you home with native plants to bring to your own garden or balcony. The workshop is full and a waitlist is now in operation. This is the first in a series of Thursday workshops, so stay tuned for the details of the next workshop which will be announced soon.

About The Digital Hub & Pocket Forest Partnership

The Digital Hub, in partnership with Pocket Forests, installed the Pocket Forests Tree Hub in their Dublin 8 campus. The Tree Hub is Ireland’s first native tree nursery in a city centre location. The nursery, which will see the planting of native Irish trees such as birch, rowan and alder, will serve as a distribution point for the planting of further trees around the Dublin 8 and greater Dublin area.
