⚡️ Welcome to the world of electronics with Python where you can interact with electronics (it`s called CircuitPython).
⚙️ Through a series of five 1.5 hour workshops, Vicky Twomey-Lee and Michael Twomey of Coding Grace will introduce you to circuits with paper circuits, find out what breadboards are (It`s not made of bread 🍞); how it all connects together, what is a Raspberry Pi Pico, and how do you use code to make it all work?
🏆 By the end of the last session, you can programme your own gamepad controller with CircuitPython and a Raspberry Pi Pico and play games on your laptop!
👉 Workshop places are limited to 10 attendees so registration is mandatory.

St Patrick’s Tower was originally built in 1757 for the Roe’s Distillery.
The Roe family were the main benefactor to the restoration of @christchurchdublin and the construction of the new synod hall in 1871.
Henry Roe donated £250,000 (approx. €38m today).

#ICYMI @dublincameraclub marks 80 Years of Irish Photography.
One of Ireland’s oldest clubs and the largest camera club in Ireland, @dublincameraclub, marks its 80th anniversary this summer.
Founded in 1946, the club hosted its first exhibition of members’ work the same year and has continued this tradition ever since.
@dublincameraclub is a voluntary organisation run by its members, for its members. There are over 200 participants in Dublin Camera Club, ranging in age from those in their 20s to 90s.
@dublincameraclub are currently hosting their 80th Anniversary Photography Exhibition in @dlr.lexicon, Dun Laoighaire. It is available for public viewing until Sunday, 30th August.

St Patrick’s Tower was originally built in 1757 for the Roe’s Distillery.
The Roes invested in their distillery and it was considered as one of the best equipped in Ireland and the UK.
At its height, it milled 1,500 barrels of barley a day, utilising over a mile of conveyor belts, elevator screws, five steam engines, seven 30ft by 7ft boilers with the addition of four factory chimneys to the skyline.
