Mid – Senior Project Manager

Do you have at least 2-3 years experience working as a client facing Project Manager or a proven background working with Magento e-commerce? Equinox Digital are currently recruiting a Mid - Senior Project Manager to join a growing and diverse team in their office based at The Digital Hub.

You will be a primary point of contact for our customers and have excellent communication skills in order to deliver Magento E-Commerce projects on time and within budget. Some of our developers are based offshore so your experience in guiding, persuading and managing colleagues at distance would be advantageous. You will need to be a calming influence when the pressure is on and be strong enough to stand your ground when projects threaten to slip or members of your team need to focus on delivering results or develop key skills.

We have adopted Agency Agile methodology and will be rolling out Jira across the business. If you bring this level of experience to the table then you will be a prime candidate.


Skills and experience

  • A Minimum 2-3 years Account Project Management experience in a client facing role
  • Experience of Agile project methodology
  • Experience of working with Jira Software (a distinct advantage)
  • Experience of working with Magento or similar commerce platforms (a distinct advantage)
  • Experience of directly overseeing the work of designers and developers
  • Experience of managing remotely located teams (a distinct advantage)
  • Ability to effectively deal with conflict and positively overcome obstacles
  • Ability to spot new business opportunities, cross sell and upsell
  • Ability to demonstrate good influencing and negotiation skills
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service experience and telephone manner
  • Ability to gather requirements, functional specifications and help cost repeat business from existing customers
  • Experience of reporting on project status and staff resourcing giving regular updates to customers
  • Ability to ensure all customer invoices are administered and reviewed in a timely manner to ensure good cash flows
  • Ability to meet and greet all customers visiting us at our offices and ensure they receive a professional welcome
  • Ability to demonstrate accurate record keeping and follow up outstanding actions points without delay to keep projects on track
  • Ability to get to know your clients exceedingly well and maintain a positive working relationship often over distance with weekly and daily contact
