Culture Night at The Digital Hub

Visit The Digital Hub on Culture Night for the best of Irish film and flea market bargains in one of Dublin city’s most historic, vibrant and creative communities. The event will be held outdoors, under St. Patrick’s Tower, at The Digital Hub campus on Thomas Street, Dublin 8 on Friday, September 20th. The Dublin Flea Market starts at 6pm, and the outdoor film screening begins at 7.30pm.

The Digital Hub in association with Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival and the Dublin Flea Market are celebrating Culture Night with an evening of film, food and markets at The Digital hub campus, on Thomas Street in Dublin 8.

 

The Virgin Media Dublin International Film Festival has put together a programme of short films from their Audience Award winning shorts over the last five years. Also included in the programme is ‘No Place Like Home’, a short documentary made by local young people who participated on Screen8 filmmaking programme from September 2018 to February 2019.

One of Dublin’s most loved markets, the Dublin Flea Market, will bring a special Night Market to The Digital Hub for Culture Night, with an eclectic mix of stalls with everything from vintage clothes to handmade crafts and delicious food from Market vendors.

Container Coffee, the unique coffee shop in a shipping container, will also open its doors for great coffee and tasty treats.

About Culture Night
Culture Night is an annual all-island public event that celebrates culture, creativity and the arts. This year, it will take place on Friday 20th September 2019. On Culture Night, arts and cultural organisations and venues of all shapes and sizes, including the National Cultural Institutions, extend their opening hours to allow for increased access to the public. Special and unique events and workshops are specifically programmed at participating locations and everything is available free of charge.
