Communities, Currency & Collaboration at The Digital Hub – 8/9 March

Are you a leader, researcher, designer or activist interested in Community Wellbeing and Collaboration? Are you involved in policy at a local scale? Join a FREE workshop focussed on value exchange, complimentary currency and collaboration at The Digital Hub on March 8th and 9th.

Join the Commonfare project to explore social wellbeing and community building through collaboration and mutual support. Commonfare.net promotes a participatory approach to social wellbeing through collaboration and mutual support.

Facilitated by visiting experts Fedrico Bonelli and Aspra Beneti from Dyne.org in Amsterdam, we invite community leaders, social entrepreneurs, policy experts, those passionate about technology and society.

The event takes place on Friday, March 8th and Saturday, March 9th from 9am to 6pm both days. You can register now at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/communities-currency-collaboration-in-dublin-tickets-56751070981

The Commonfare initiative has created:

  • “SWAPI” (Social Wallet API) a completely free software toolkit to help generate and deal with “complementary currencies” – i.e. a micro-currency platform which communities might use for trade and collaboration.
  • A board game “Le Grand Jeu”; created to help community groups, leaders and citizens to address issues of value exchange and economy.
