We Love Markets is a monthly flea market that takes place on The Digital Hub campus on the last Sunday of every month. The Market hosts up to 50 eclectic stalls, showcasing a mixture of local design and locally made artisan food, homemade crafts, clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac, vintage wares, artisan goods and plenty of hidden gems. The market supports local enterprises, organisations, designers and creatives in Dublin 8. The next market will take place on Sunday, 15th March from 11am - 5pm at the Digital Depot carpark.

Smart D8, a real-world population #health and #wellbeing demonstrator, has just launched a new open call to trial innovative #pilot projects in three areas:
➼ Nutrition
➼ Social Connectedness
➼ Workplace Wellbeing
Supported by an innovative partnership model to address health and #wellbeing challenges identified by the #Dublin8 community, the 2026 pilot call is open to all #Enterprise, #Academic, and Public and Private sector organisations at any size who:
🔵 have innovative population health / wellbeing solutions ready to engage with citizens in real-world environments
🔵 can engage a large number of end-users in the 45,000-strong Dublin 8 community
🔵 can #demonstrate measurable #impacts on social and economic determinants of health
🔵 can be enabled by collaboration with Smart D8 partners, and
🔵 has a focus on illness prevention, with an ability to #scale
Up to three pilot projects will share in up to €30,000 as part of the 2026 Smart D8 initiative.
The partnership provides changemakers with a chance to connect their innovations with citizens in real-world community settings, and demonstrate their ability to scale to wider populations.

Are you a designer, developer, journalist or data fanatic in and around Dublin? Join Rudi O`Reilly Meehan to meet fellow practitioners and hear from those who are passionate about telling visual stories with data.
The speaker for the event will be Andy Kirk, Founder of @visualising.data. In his talk, The 7 Hats of Data Visualisation (Revisited!), Andy Kirk will showcase the value and richness of data visualisation as a key literacy in this contemporary digital age.

Their award-winning team, with collectively over five decades of experience, produces short films, documentaries, music videos, online advertisements and educational content, transforming ideas into captivating visual experiences.
They are currently working on a documentary about Christy Dignam called Feel No Shame.

The Bank is The Digital Hub’s latest repurposed space; from a former Bank of Ireland to a new versatile venue for the creative and business community.
The large, self-contained square space can be used for a wide variety of things — from rehearsals, performances, exhibitions, launch events and filming location to business seminars, workshops, networking events and training courses.
It has a fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, fridge and dishwasher, an accessible toilet on the ground floor and additional toilets upstairs.
We currently have availability in April, June and July for this space.
