We Love Markets Monthly Flea Market
We Love Markets is a monthly flea market that takes place on The Digital Hub campus on the last Sunday of every month. The Market hosts up to 50 eclectic stalls, showcasing a mixture of local design and locally made artisan food, homemade crafts, clothes, furniture, bric-a-brac, vintage wares, artisan goods and plenty of hidden gems. The market supports local enterprises, organisations, designers and creatives in Dublin 8. The next market will take place on Sunday, 15th March from 11am - 5pm at the Digital Depot carpark.

They prove that being tech-savvy has no age limit, with members varying in age from 72 to 94!
They were interviewed by RTE just before Christmas where they spoke about their positive experience of the club.

ℹ Bloop Groop is an evening for electronic musicians & producers of all levels - from the mildly curious to professionals - to hang out, test out kit and make music, culminating in a structured collaborative jam where everyone gets involved.
Inspired by Bristol’s Bleep Klub, Bloop Groop is less about the gear, and more about having fun, learning and making music together, in a low-stress, playful environment.

#ICYMI Smart D8 Opens Doors to Health and Wellbeing Innovators for Sixth Consecutive Year.
Following five years of success, the Smart D8 initiative has a strong record supporting innovators with 19 impactful and scalable pilots delivered.
Up to three pilot projects to share in up to €30,000 fund as part of the 2026 initiative.
Smart D8 is a consortium initiative led by The Digital Hub, @dublincitycouncil, St. James` Hospital Dublin and @smartdublin.

To mark National Tree week 2026, we want to recognise the importance of the historic pear tree at The Digital Hub. It’s estimated to be aged in the range of 150 to 200 years old, and it still bears fruit!

🍐 A mechanical elevated platform is needed to harvest the pears from the top branches.
🍐 A pear picked from the tree — in 2022 DNA analysis confirmed it as “Marechal de Cour", also known as "Conseiller de la Cour”, a variety popular in Victorian Britain, from where it likely spread in 1847.
🍐 Members of The Digital Hub, local community groups and students of NCAD Field gather at The Digital Hub for the annual community harvest of fruit from the pear tree.
🍐 A throw-back to Spring of last year — we’re expecting the tree to blossom in the coming weeks.
