WebElevate is an honours-degree level programme run through the Higher Education Authority's Springboard initiative. 
The programme is delivered by the Digital Skills Academy and Dublin’s Institute of Technology (who are the awarding body) at the Digital Skills Academy’s state-of-the-art facilities at The Digital Hub.
The WebElevate programme is helping to alleviate Ireland's digital skills shortage by re-skilling job seekers who aspire to work in the digital sector with the skills that are in demand now, and which are requisite for the jobs of tomorrow.  The programme provides participants with the opportunity to develop their existing knowledge and skills, and previous employment experience, by re-skilling in digital media production and application development for the following occupational roles:
1. Digital Media Application Developer / Programmer
2. Web & Interface Graphic Designer
3. Digital Media Production Manager / Project Manager
4. Online Marketing, Sales & Communications Executive/Manager
5. Digital Media Copy Writer, Editor & Information Designer
6. Web Video Producer

WebElevate is notable in its close partnership with the sector in which it operates.  The programme is delivered by industry professionals and also includes structured work placements.

Digital Skills Academy


Founded in 2008 the mission of Digital Skills Academy is to deliver innovative learning programmes in digital skills.  Currently focused on education and training for the digital media sector, the Academy designs and develops innovative ‘blended’ learning solutions using 21st Century learning techniques.
