Ireland's most inventive companies to premier at global information security conference

The RSA Conference, taking place in San Francisco from 27th, February to 2nd, March 2012, is the world’s leading gathering of information security experts.  A group of Ireland-based companies, including The Digital Hub’s PixAlert, will showcase their newest cyber-security technologies and solutions, at the InfoSecurity Ireland stand at this global event.
These companies represent a fast-growing sector of Ireland’s economy.  Information Security Ireland (ISI) is the networking body established in 2009 to promote the track recrod and capabilities of Ireland’s information security industry.
Collectively these companies are innovating and commercialising breakthrough anti-virus and anti-fraud systems, easy-to-use compliance tools, digital forensic techniques and other inventive technologies to tackle today’s cyber threats.  Many of their technologies are already widely utilised in the US market - preventing network vulnerabilities and securing data for government agencies, large financial institutions, and insurance companies.

PixAlert, for example, will debut its PCI DSS Scope Assessment Product at the show.  This fully automated solution allows businesses to quickly find where Card Holder Data (CHD) is stored on any part of the corporate network.  The product offers exceptional visibility into the scale of their CHD exposures, while improving their PCI DSS certification success rates.  It’s the latest cyber-security innovation from this pioneer of data and image auditing/monitoring software that helps large organisations avoid reputational and brand risk from data breach/leakage and inappropriate image distribution on corporate networks.
The other companies that will be in attendance at the InfoSecurity Ireland Stand at the RSA Conference are Daon, Shenick, Spam Titan and VigiTrust.
