The Best in Show competition was set up to give graduates from creative and technology courses exposure to potential employers.

 

Initially, the competition was an annual showcase of work by students at The Digital Hub. But now in its fifth year Best in Show offers graduates - from animation, digital design, film, audio production and multimedia disciplines - meaningful work placements with leading companies. In some cases these work placements lead to full time employment for participants.

Graduates are facing increasingly significant challenges in entering the workforce, and any opportunity to gain solid experience and an excellent reference for their CV will give them an advantage in the jobs market. Meanwhile, companies that provide relevant work experience can benefit from having an extra pair of hands - newly qualified and enthusiastic - to help with projects.
