The Digial Hub

The Digital Hub Development Agency is the state agency established by the Irish Government with responsibility for the management of The Digital Hub. Established in 2003 to manage The Digital Hub project, the task of Digital Hub Development Agency is to implement some of the most radical enterprise and social development strategies so far attempted by the Irish Government.

Digital Hub Development Agency actively manages the project environment by implementing physical and support initiatives to ensure that the creators and innovators of next generation digital media products and services have an opportunity to grow. Uniquely, the Agency is leveraging the growth of the project to provide a framework for social and educational developments and reform. The sense of community and ownership among those involved in the project sets it apart from all that have gone before.

The Agency is also the first to establish board level integration with the key government bodies responsible for the city and national enterprise development, namely: Dublin City Council, Enterprise Ireland and the Industrial Development Authority.
