The Community Programme of The Digital Hub Learning Initiative aims to give the community located close to the Digital Hub access to digital technology. The Digital Hub Learning Initiative is the largest programme to date. It is focussed on supporting local community educational initiatives by hosting 'training the trainer' courses, providing access to a range of community focused courses and empowering the local community to implement digital media programmes in their own communities.

The Schools programme seeks to develop a range of programmes to address the digital divide in the primary and second level schools located close to the Digital Hub. The Schools Programme aims to equip local children with the skills needed to live in a digital age, and to work in the digital media industry, which will be located on their doorstep. These include providing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) equipment and technical support to local schools; providing professional training to teachers so they are fully informed about the educational benefits of ICT, and advising and informing the schools of employment opportunities in the digital sector.
